The flyer above serves as an invitation to all Academic Staff of the University of Calabar to the 5th International Conference of U6, a consortium of High flying Universities in Africa. 

The Conference which is billed for 29th October— 2nd November, 2017 will be held at the Mini Convocation Arena of Kwara State University,  Malete.  The theme of the  Conference is " Resolving Developmental Challenges of Africa using Multi - Disciplinary Research.

The Lead Speaker who was nominated by UNICAL VC  is Prof Edem Efiong  Williams of the Department of Computer Science.   Since papers to be presented at the Conference will cut across Multi disciplines, academics wishing to be involved in paper presentation are advised to submit their abstract on or before 13th October, 2017 to

The U6 of which UNICAL is a member was established to collaborate on joint activities such as facilitation and coordination of joint Research, Curriculum development, collaborative seminars, workshops and conferences as well as academic exchanges to further expose academic staff and students of the collaborating universities.
